Letter. Ernest Woodward to mother Sarah. Sent from 3rd Northumberland Fusiliers Moor Barracks Bradford. Sorry for not writing or sending money. Had only 6s, putting 3s in bank and will send 3s or 4 s at end of month. Snowed enough to blind you all the way from Bedford to Bradford. I am doing my guards now with a bugle. The day the Queen was buried our men had to go to London and line the streets. A grand sight and lots got hurt.
