Contains poetry and satirical verses on military service, 'The Soldiers Catechism', and a version of the Lord's Prayer, addressed to the colonel of the regiment. At dorse Diary entry by Ernest Woodward. nd [c1890] Mother has received an offer of marriage from Mr Hulet [sic] but cannot forget his own father. Mother will be wise to accept as she has to work so hard now. 26 Sept 1899.
