Lady Payne much worse - dreadful suffering from chest cancer - hopeless case - Miss McCrea's kindness and attention beyond all praise. Expenses great but "Neaves behaved very well", thankful she has received Sacrament twice, hope enjoying time at Sandy, change of air good for the boys too hot to get out in the daytime - walk in Champs Elysees in evening till 10pm - crowded, excellent band of music.
