    he told Worton he had seen Knowles at the Plummers sale at Copthall. Worton said he wanted to see Knowles as he had 3 swans Knowles had asked about. He said to be sure to send Knowles his way. Sometime later he was at the Waggon & Horses when Worton came to him and asked him to take the 3 swans from New Town Street. He gave him the swans and said he would go with him as far as the Compasses and see if Knowles was there. Whilst they were at the Compasses James Knowles came and paid Worton for them. He gave Hull 2 shillings to take them home. He never saw any pheasants.
