- Scope and ContentHe said that he did not have it out of the yard but found it on the road. He did not have a smock frock on but a flannel jacket. He met the policeman about 200 yards from where he came out and the constable did not see him come out of the gate. He told the constable he had found the wood, and the constable said he must taker it back. He went back with the constable and told his master. He wanted to make a door cill for his mothers house.
