- Scope and ContentThis page has been crossed through. He is about 22 years of age, was born at Elstow. Some time after Michaelmas 1806 he went to live with John Lilburne of St Paul, Bedford, victualler as boot boy and waiter for which service he was to be found board, lodging, washing and what money he might receive of the Company coming there. He let himself to Mr John Palmer of Wellingborough in the County of Notrhampton, liquor merchant about twelve weeks before las Michaelmas for a year at the wages of 13 guineas and is still in such service and has not done any act since to gain a settlement to the best of his knowledge. He was married yesterday morning at the parish of St Cuthbert to Ann Brittain.
