- Scope and ContentHe was born in Pulloxhill, he is 27 years of age. When he was about 11 years old he was placed apprentice by his mother to James Poulton of the hamlet of Silsoe in the parish of Flitton, baker, for seven years by Indenture, which Indenture is now with his mother in the parish of Westoning. He served the whole of his apprenticeship with his master in Silsoe. When he was out of his time he let himself to his master as journeyman baker at the wages of twelve guineas, which time he served and received the whole of his wages. He has worked as a journeyman baker in several places but never done any other act whereby to gain a settlement. He was married on Tuesday last at St Paul, Bedford, to Frances Jordan.
