He is 23 years of age, was born in Souldrop in the County of Bedford. His father at his birth resided in Souldrop but was a parishioner of Thurleigh by servitude. He has been brought up a shoemaker but never been bound apprentice by Indenture, nor has he ever done any act whereby to gain a settlement in his own right to the best of his knowledge and belief. He was married at St Mary, bedford, on 19th February 1810 to Sarah Wightman, they have one son, William, aged two years.
