    Declaration of trust: (i) Frederick Charles Polhill-Turner, Howbury Hall, esquire, a Captain in Her Majesty's Army (ii) Joseph Aldridge, 27 Montague Place, Russell Square, Middlesex, esquire. Reciting various deeds [Details given] Now in consideration of said sums of £1600 and £200, and £200 paid by (ii) to (i), is agreed that (ii) shall hold Policy of Assurance on trust to secure repayment of said sums and interest due on security of 2 deeds of 14 April 1854. Various provisions for payment and re-payment. Notwithstanding proviso in 1st deed of 14 April 1854 limiting amount of money ultimately recoverable to £2000, such deed and also the 2nd deed of 14 April 1854 shall be available as securities to (ii) for any sum not exceeding £200 in addition to said £2000.     Reciting various deeds: Reciting deed of 14 April 1854 between same parties by which in consideration of £1600 advanced by (ii) to (i), (i) assigned to (ii) moiety of certain annual rent charge of £1000 which by deed of 28 July 1834 is charged upon manors etc comprised in Deed of Settlement of 9 February 1852 during the life of Frances Margaretta, wife of the Reverend Jacob Henry Brooke Mountain. To be held by (ii) during life of said F M Mountain. Also in said deed (i) assigned to (ii) the rents and profits arising during life of (i) in respect of said Manors in deed of 9 February 1852, subject to charges and trusts in favour of Emily the wife of (i) and their children. Also in said deed is proviso for redemption of said moiety on payment by (i) of £1600 and interest at 5% per annum and other sums (making in total £2000) which might be advanced by (ii) to (i). Reciting also deed of same 14 April 1854: (a) Richard Raine, esquire (b) said F C Polhill-Turner (c) said Joseph Aldridge. By which (a) at request of (b) assigned to (c) 2 policies of assurance on life of (b) for £500 and £1000 in Economic Life Assurance Office, to hold on trusts to further secure repayment of £1600 and interest. On 28 April 1859 (ii) advanced further sum of £200 to (i) on security of said 2 deeds dated 14 April 1854. Sums of £1600 and £200 are still owing to (ii) but all interest has been paid to 14 January last. (i) has requested (ii) to lend him a further £200, which he has agreed to do on having repayment of same, and previous sums, secured by Life Assurance policy for £500. Said policy, with the Economic Assurance Office, is dated 31 May 1860 and numbered 14 524, at annual premium of £12 14s 7d.
