Lease: (i) John Polhill (ii) Carter Potto, Renhold, yeoman. (i) leases to (ii) messuage or farmhouse and land belonging (200 acres 30 perches) in Renhold, in the occupation of (ii), with liberty for (i) to enter a close of pasture called Hill ground and divert road from Bedford to Great Barford from its present course over said close, of a width of 60 feet. (ii) to be allowed £2 2s for every acre of said close used for the road. Term 6 years from 11 October next. Rent £280 per annum. £10 per annum for every acre of meadow and pasture ploughed up. £10 per annum for every acre arable sown for more than 2 years together without fallowing. (i) will make smooth 5 acres of banky pasture land. Covenants, agreements, conditions etc as in X 668/203 to 207. Signatures of (i). Endorsed with note about witness but unsigned.
