- Scope and ContentHe hired Samuel Bailley and John Tunn to dig potatoes for him. They finished digging on Saturday night and had pitted them up. On the Monday morning his man Robert Westley who lives in the house adjoining went into the spinney close to where the potatoes were dug and found a quantity of potatoes hidden in the ditch. When he heard of it he told Mr Graham. The potatoes were the same as those they had dug up. Their value is about 1s 6d.
