Reciting various deeds [Details given] Now in consideration of £1500 paid to Francis Brace, elder, and £50 paid to John Hazelden by John Borrett and 5s to (i) and to John Haseldine also paid by (iii) and George Wheeler, (i), by direction or consent of (ii), and John Haselden, release, at nomination of John Borrett, to (iii) said manor, closes, lands, tithes, tenths etc now in possession of (iii) by virtue of a lease for a year and by deed of previous day made between (i) and John Haselden, and (iii), to hold for use of (iii) in trust for (iii) to secure repayment of said £1643. (iii) to have peaceable possession, if default made, without claim from John Hazelden and wife Dorothy, indemnified against all claims except above 'indenture quadripartite' and a mortgage to Nathaniel Mason, London, salter, to secure £300 and interest, which still remains due.     Details given: Reciting that John Haselden has, at various times, borrowed from Francis Brace, elder, £800 which was secured with interest as in deed of 7 April 1704: (a) John Haselden and wife Dorothy (b) Francis Brace, elder (c) John Dodson, then of Furnivals Inn, London, gentleman, since deceased (d) John Penington. Said sum and interest not repaid to (b). Several other sums (in total £200) also lent by Francis Brace, elder, to John Haselden. Francis Brace, elder, on 23 December 1705, lent a further £200 to John Haselden. Total borrowed £1200. All interest due has been paid. By lease and release of 22 and 23 December 1705: (1) John Haselden and Dorothy (2) Francis Brace, elder (3) Francis Brace, younger, John Penington. To secure sums already lent and in consideration of £200 mentioned to be then paid to John Haselden by (2), (1) at nomination of (2) released to (3): -- manor of Goldington Bury in Goldington etc -- messuage etc in Goldington in the occupation of William Feild, younger, and afterwards of William Manton and then of John Wiffin -- close pasture adjoining called Home Close (7 acres) -- 4 acres meadow in South Meade in Goldington -- 4 acres meadow (part of 30 roods) in East Meadow of Goldington -- 72 acres land and ley ground in common fields of Goldington once in the occupation of William Feilde and afterwards of William Manton and then John Wiffin -- messuage or tenement and dovehouse belonging in Goldington, in the occupation of Thomas Sendall, then William Manton and John Wiffin -- close pasture (5 acres) called Home Close or Dovehouse Close in Goldington near above messuage -- Low Close (5 acres) -- 4 acres meadow in South Mead -- 1 acre in East Mead -- 58 acres land in common fields once in the occupation of Thomas Sendall and then William Manton and then Robert Hawkins, clerk, and then John Wiffin and were settled by jointure on Anne, late wife of Robert Haseldon, gentleman, father of John, in tail male and since settled in jointure on Dorothy -- 23 acres 2 roods in common fields of Goldington, formerly in the occupation of John and William Wiffin, and late of James Wiffin -- 7 acres meadow in South Mead in Goldington once in the occupation of Isaac Hurst, and since of John Wiffin, deceased, father of John, then Mr Thomas Theed, then Catherine Haselden, widow, deceased, and then of James Wiffin: East and south Sir Thomas Alleyn West Mr Benjamin Haseldine North (partt) Sir Thomas Alleyn North (part) Mr Benjamin Haseldine -- titles and tenths arising from said 23 1/2 acres arable and 7 acres meadow -- 6 acres arable called Every Years Land in Goldington, late in the occupation of John Wiffin -- close pasture called Appledine Close, late in the occupation of James and John Wiffin -- court leet, court baron, view of frankpledge etc all belonging to John Haselden and wife Dorothy, in Goldington, Reynhold and Ravensden to hold to (3) and heirs for use of (3) in trust for benefit of (2) Premises to be redeemed on payment of £1264 by John Haselden to (2). Also John Haselden is indebted to Francis Brace, elder, in several other sums of money lent to him by Francis Brace, elder, secured by bond, and interest on said £1200, amounting to £300 (£1500 in total).
