Born at Clifton, Bucks, where father Richard Kilsby was a parishioner. When aged about 16 years, he let himself by the year to Thomas Skevington, Clifton, Bucks, farmer, and had served Skevington there for 7 years. No other settlement. Married Hannah Pearse at St. Paul’s, 9 April 1798.
