Born at Luggershall, Wilts., where father, Thomas Cook, was a parishioner. At Michaelmas 1788, let himself for 1 year to William Sanders, Abbersand, nr. Andover, Hants., farmer, at a wage of 40 shillings, serving Sanders that year and duly receiving his wages. No other settlement. Married Ann Pierson at St. Paul’s, 4 March 1796.
