Stated that his father, John Mumford, was a Certificate Man from Keston to Haynes, Kent. Let himself as a servant to Mrs. Gildard, Bromley, Kent, widow, about 1786, at a yearly wage of 7 guineas, and at a month’s wages and a month’s warning, serving her at Bromley for a whole year, receiving his wages accordingly. No other settlement. Married Sarah Norton at St. Paul’s, 27 January 1795.
