- Scope and ContentBound apprentice, by Indenture now produced, dated 14 November 1778, on which the King’s Duty apparently paid, to Edward Bull, Wilden, cordwainer, for a term of 7years commencing 25 March 1778, serving full term of his apprenticeship with Bull in Wilden. No other settlement. Stated that, at the time of his [i.e. Goddard’s] term, Bull belonged to Wilden by renting £10 a year there. He [Goddard] was born at Goldington, where father was parishioner. Married Ann Lane at St. Paul’s, 1 January 1795.
