- Scope and ContentBound apprentice, by Indenture, now produced, dated 27 December 1777, on which the King’s Duty apparently paid, to Alexander Walford, Oakley, carpenter, for a term of 7 years commencing 29 September 1774. Served Walford in Oakley from date of Indenture until the end of his apprenticeship. Possessed of 3 tenements at Sharnbrook, given to him by his father but without formal Conveyance, which let for £3/19/6 per annum. Since being in receipt of the rents, has lived in a tenement at Sharnbrook for about 6 months, which he hired for 1 guinea per annum. No other settlement. Married Sarah Swepson at Clapham, May 1791. One child: John, aged about 1¼ years.
