- Scope and ContentDetails of other property: -- 2 watermills adjoining -- Millpond belonging to said mills, with millbank adjoining, as same is now fenced out with a hedge and ditch -- 2 closes pasture ground lying together in parish of Millbrook one called Dovehouse Close (5 acres) the other called Mill Close (11 acres) -- piece pasture adjoining called The Slade (1 acre) West Marston Field North cottage etc of Samuel Odell South Edmunds Fowkes, gentleman, deceased East Peace Closes -- 2 closes arable called the Peace Closes (13 acres 17 perches) in Millbrook with 2 groves or coppices adjoining (1 acre 3 roods) -- cottage etc where Anthony Spire, deceased, late did dwell, in Marston Moretaine -- 2 little closes in Marston Moretaine, one arable and the other pasture (total 2 acres) adjoining above cottage -- 1/2 acre meadow in Endmore meadow, Marston Moretaine all which closes, tenements, pightles etc were late in the occupation of John Browne -- new erected messuage in Wroxhill, Marston Moretaine, late in the occupation of Michael Woodward -- 12 closes arable and pasture adjoining (65 1/2 acres) as described in lease and release of 25 and 26 March 1707 [see X 668/121-122] To hold clear of any claims except deed of 1 December 1690. Term of years later assigned to George Wells, gentleman, and charged with payment to him of £200 and interest. Also except deed of 28 May 1703 to secure repayment of £15 and interest to John Vaux, which has since been repaid by Robert Squire out of purchase money which he agreed to pay to Michael Woodward when purchasing part of said premises from him.
