Recites Deed poll of Dame Henrietta Payne dividing rentcharge between her 3 sons, ie one share of the £500 pa to go to Sir Coventry Payne. 28 November 1852. Recites since Sir Coventry's death paid to her out of dividends arising from £16,666 13s 4d [in] 3% Consolidated Bank Annuities, in the names of the executors of will of late Joseph Francis Buckworth, surviving Trustees (Geoffrey Joseph Shakesley Esq of Whatcroft Hall, Cheshire, and John Cole of Adelphi Terrace, Middlesex).

Recites agreement that a portion of the purchase money from Peel should be used to purchase 3% Consols to pay annuities to Mary Webster and John Jefferies. Therefore purchase £2490 13s 3d [in] 3% Consols in names of Edward Argles and James Newbery of Biggleswade (Vendor's Trustees) and William Freshfield the younger and Henry Ray Freshfield, New Bank Buildings, City of London, Gent (Peel's Trustees). Covered by payment of £2500 by Peel. Recites:- Websters and Jeffries satisfied only one annuity was intended, of £30 each. Recites Sir Coventry Payne entitled to surplus of £5000 after Sale Expectant on death of Henrietta Payne and reversion of Consols to be settled on the Marriage Settlement Trustees.
Recites Assignment of Policy of Assurance: 1) John Wright (borrower), 2) Harriet Wright (lender). Policy of Assurance granted by The Pelican Life Assurance Company No 28170, assuring £2000 on his death in consideration of the Annual sum of £42 13s 4d (dated 10 April 1850). And Policy of Assurance granted by East of England Mutual Life Assurance Society No 50. Assured £400, Premium £19 11s (dated 22 Aug 1850 as security for £2,300 and 4% interest due to Harriet). 19 April 1852. Recites above £2,300 to be settled on Marriage Trustees.
Settled on Trustees: a) 1/3rd share of Sir Coventry Payne of money covered by Trust Settlement of 18 May 1820 (expectant on death of Henrietta); b) £2490 13s 3d Consolidated 3% Annuities so much as shall remain after annuities paid to Webster and Jeff[e]ries; c) Covenant by Sir Coventry will pay £5000 + (Surplus from above sale of land) to marriage Trustees within 6 calendar months. To be laid in Parliamentary Stocks or Public Funds. Reversion after death of survivor to their children (but Power of Appointment in Parents); d) £2,300 due from John Wright.
