He measured her and was to get them done by next Saturday. He looked in his window and said "I should have had some slippers here". They did not answer him. They did not know what he meant by it. Her mother Martha Houghton was with her. She has nothing to say about the boots. She knows nothing of them. She is not related to Ruth Newell. She lives in Colmworth - Newell lives at Bolnhurst. She did not understand the constable right when he asked mother for the basket. Martha Houghton - She has nothing to say. She knows nothing about the boots. She was not with her.
