- Scope and ContentThomas Peer - On 21 March he missed a saw from the new buildings in Victoria Terrace, St Pauls Bedford where he was at work. He saw it about 3 weeks later in the possession of Mr Coombs. He is sure it is the same saw. He had not lent or disposed of it to anyone. He knows Morris. He never heard him say anything about it. William Coombs - from information he received he searched the prisoner's house on 9 March [sic, marginal annotation "April"] for some carpentry tools and found the saw now produced upstairs in the prisoner's bedroom. His house is in Tower Court Gravel Lane St Paul's.
