I am 24 years of age and am the son of Richard Abbis and Sarah his wife. I was born in Woburn Street, Ampthill where my parents then resided and still reside, and of which parish my father is a settled inhabitant, having obtained his settlement by an Estate at Ampthill devised to him and which he occupied at the time of my birth. My father and mother were married in the parish church at Ampthill, her maiden name was Sarah Billington. I have done no act to gain a settlement in my own right. I was married on Sunday 7th November instant at St Paul, Bedford to Maria Coulson of St paul, bedford.
