    Mortgage (by lease and release): (i) John Hubbard, now of Stratford Langthorne, Essex, esquire (ii) William Hubbard, now of Ashton House, near Heytsbury, Wiltshire, esquire (trustee for i)) (iii) Samuel Nicholson, Cateaton Street, London, merchant. Reciting that (i) has requested (iii) to lend him £7000, to be secured by bond of (i) in £14,000 and a mortgage of the Manor etc. Now in consideration of £7000 lent by (iii) to (i), (i) and (ii) release to (iii) Manor or Lordship of Wroxhill etc; messuage and 4 closes adjoining (50 acres) late in the occupation of William Yates and now of James Davis; messuage, dovehouse etc now in the occupation of William Roberts; various closes [named]; allotment in Wroxhill Field (77 acres 3 roods 31 perches) etc. To hold to use of (iii) subject to right of redemption on payment of £7000 and £350 interest per year.     Endorsement: Reconveyance: (a) George Thomas Nicholson, Waverley Abbey, near Farnham, Surrey, esquire (son and heir of Samuel Nicholson, deceased) (b) John Hubbard (c) Richard Willis, Tokenhouse Yard, London, gentleman (trustee for (b)). Samuel Nicholson died in 1827. By his will dated 10 May 1821 he devised all his manors etc to (a). Will proved Prerogative Court of Canterbury) on 24 November 1827. Whole of principal sum of £7000 now remains owing but all interest has been paid. Now in consideration of £7000 paid by (b) to (a), (a) releases to (b) Manor or Lordship, messuages, farms, to hold freed from mortgage debt to use of (b) or to (c) in trust for (b), for ever.
