- Scope and ContentI am 21 years of age. I was born in St Paul, Bedford where my parents then resided. When I was between thirteen and fourteen years of age I was apprenticed by Indentures by the Harpur Charity to George Craddock of Kimbolton in the County of Huntingdon, hairdresser for seven years. I served two years and a half of that time at Kimbolton and then left my master on account of ill usage. I then came but without my master's consent to work as a journeyman with John Bithrey of St Paul, hairdresser, and have worked with him ever since during which time I have lodged with my father in the said parish of St Paul. on the 19th instant I hired a house in Cauldwell Street, St Mary, of Sinfield a saddler until Michaelmas at a rent of ten pounds per annum he holds under Mrs Elger and I am his sub-tenant. I was married on the 23rd Auguust instant at St Cuthbert in this town to Rebecca Britton.
