- Scope and ContentI am 22 years of age. I was born at Thurleigh where my father James Packwood resided at the time of my birth. I have heard and believe that his legal settlement was at Thurleigh and that he gained it by renting and occupying a house in that parish of old Mr Peacock for which he paid twelve pounds a year rent. My father and mother were married at Thurleigh church. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Peacock. Both of them are dead. I was baptised at Thurleigh church. I was married at St Peter's Church on Monday 15th February instant to Ann Wilshere.
