I am about 34 years of age, was born at North Crawley. I lived at North Crawley up to the year 1820 or1821 when I went to Ampthill and worked as a journeyman with Mr Thomas Burge, butcher. I remained with him for about 18 months and then returned to North Crawley and entered into business for myself. In December 1833 I came to reside in the parish of St Paul, Bedford. I purchased an estate in St Paul for which I gave £600 and which I now hold. I resided on this estate until last April when I returned to North Crawley. I was married on the 2nd February instant at St Paul to Sarah Prior.
