- Date free textNot dated, c November 1882
- Production dateFrom: 1869 To: 1882
- Scope and ContentHas been in practice in Dunstable for 10 years. Has attended Mr Fossey various times. He suffered from an instability of the kidneys and bladder brought about by an indulgence in alcoholic stimulants. He was also rather deaf. His complaint lately became more aggravated and he retained water and had marked pain where his trousers rubbed so he kept in a bent position and was unable to take exercise. There was no softening of the brain when Mr Murphy attested the will which was first read over to testator by Mr Middleton. He said that it was his intention and he did not want certain members of his family to have his property. “I consider he was perfectly competent to make a codicil or I should not have witnessed it”.
