Houghton Regis

Formed 30 April 1878. The board ran 2 schools, the British School which it took over in 1878 and rebuilt in 1896, and the Upper Houghton Regis School (later Chiltern Road School, Dunstable) which was built in 1882 and enlarged in 1902.
