I am about 20 years of age, was born in Bedford. When I was 14 years of age I was placed out apprentice by the Trustees of Harpur Charity to George Larkins then of St Paul, Bedford, carpenter by Indenture. I served the first part of my time in the said parish when my Master removed to St Peter in the same town where we continued about nine months when my Master gave up my Indentures and I have not done any act since to gain another settlement to the best of my knowledge. I was married 29 April last at St John, Bedford to Mary Ann Purser.
