The previous morning 7th September he saw the sack on the shoulder of Richard Loveridge, a chimney sweeper at Leighton. He recognised it as his. Loveridge said he bought it from Henry Buckeridge. The sack is worth 1s. Richard Loveridge, chimney sweeper of Little Brickhill (Bucks) - on Thursday 2nd September he met Buckeridge at Dunstable. He or another boy with him said they would sell the sack. He agreed to give 8d for it - he thinks that is its full value. He gave Buckeridge 6d and paid for a pint of beer.
