I am about 25 years of age, was born at Kingsthorpe in Northamptonshire where my father William Smith resided and belonged. My father taught me the trade of a shoemaker, and I have always lived with him. He is now settled in the parish of St Sepulchre, Northampton by renting a house there of above £10 a year. I have not done any act to gain a settlement. I was married at St Sepulchre to Mary Wilshere.
