Scope and Content
i) Arthur Henry Cowell, Dunstable, draper; ii) Susan Barcock, Dunstable, Sarah Floyd, Lacey Green, Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire, John Herbert Cowell, Luton, Timothy Norton Cowell. Houses left by Mrs Buckmaster under her will to her mother, and then for sale and proceeds to be divided equally between her sisters have been sold. It has transpired that i) is illegitimate so to put an end to disputes has been agreed as follows: ii) will pay £30 between them to i) and i) will forego any claims he may have upon proceeds of sale of the houses. Is agreed in dividing the sale of the houses the fund shall be divided into 3 parts, one for Mrs Barcock, one for Mrs Floyd and remaining part equally between John Herbert Cowell and Timothy Norton Cowell. “Approved on behalf of Mr Arthur Henry Cowell, Benning and Son”.
