    To son, William Alfred Southam, gold watch and chain; to niece Agnes Green of Northampton, £500; to clerk, A H Allwood, £10; . to domestic servant, Dinah Butler, £10; to nurse, Miss Bruce, £5; to daughter, Ellen Letitia Ann Lawrence, silver tea service, presented to me by late Mrs Macnamara’s tenants; to trustees real and personal estate in trust for sale, after payment of debts and legacies, remainder to be divided into 3 parts: 1 part to daughter Ellen Letitia Ann Lawrence, 1 part to daughter Kate Isabel Sarah Gutteridge, 3rd part to be invested and income paid to son William Alfred Southam. After death, his share to be divided between sisters. If son is desirous of purchasing share in business, then trustees may advance money up to ½ of his said share, if he gives security and it is for his benefit. Sons in law – Albert Gutteridge, Dunstable, solicitor, and John Lawrence of Dartford, Kent, bank clerk, appointed executors and trustees.
