I am about 26 years of age, was born in Silsoe. When I was about 14 years of age I was placed out apprentice by Indenture dated 20th August 1820 (now produced) to John Austin of Bedford, carpenter, for seven years. I served the whole of my time with Mr Austin and have not done any act since to the best of my knowledge to gain another settlement. O was married on the 6th instant at St Paul, Bedford to Maria Jones.
