I am 24 years of age, was born in Hitchin in the County of Hertford where my father William Huckle resided and belonged. When I was about 14 I was placed out apprentice by the parish of Hitchin to William Langford, tinman, by Indentures for seven years. I served the whole of my time in Hitchin and have worked as a journeyman tinman ever since, but have not done any act to gain a settlement to the best of my knowledge. I was married on the 19th instant at St Cuthbert to Caroline Gee.
