- Scope and ContentJoseph Benjamin Dawson: on the morning of 23 May he missed a sleeve waistcoat, a slop, and a pair of shoes from the Tool House at the brick kiln in Renhold. The staple of the door of the Tool House was drawn and the lock on the ground. He saw the prisoner in the custody of Beach and Beach asked him to get in the cart to see if the mans shoes were his property. He identified the shoes as his. William Beach: having apprehended the prisoner on another charge, he heard of the robbery in Renhold brick kiln. He went with the prisoner to the brick kiln and the prosecutor identified the prisoner’s shoes as his own.
