- Scope and ContentHe agreed to settle with Taylor at Shefford market. When he saw Taylor at the Crown his wife said they would trust him until Saturday. Taylor came over to Stondon to him on the Monday. He told Taylor he could not pay him then and Taylor told him he would trust him until Wednesday. At Hitchin market on the Tuesday Taylor came and asked again and he said he could not pay then as the time was not up. Some day in the week his wife came over to Stondon to him and he could not pay him then. He did not see them again until the next Tuesday when they came to him in Hitchin market and "blamed me up".
