Discusses picture of baby in scarlet frock then picture of 5 Knight grandchildren (identified by Frederica on dorse of letter as Frederica, Frances, Theresa, May and Greville 'I really could not discover in the countenances of the whole 5, one tract or mark of a bad disposition - but on the contrary, unerring marks that their future lives will make those who love them the most, proud of them.' Praises picture of 2nd son in No 611 'the face is so interesting and delicately drawn.' Should have had volume of Milton in his hand. Hope Decree in Mrs Knight's legal suit soon. From this it would appear likely that the artist of the picture of the 5 Boughtons was Hawkins but F S Orlebar states on back of letter 'Artist's name unknown.
