- Scope and ContentI am about 25 years of age, was born in St George in the East, County of Middlesex. When I was about fourteen years of age I was placed out apprentice to James Jones of Featherstone Street, St Luke, County of Middlesex, clay and tobacco pipemaker by Indenture dated 25th March 1819 for seven years. I served the whole of my time with there with my said Master and haven't done any other act to gain settlement to the best of my knowledge.I was married on the 19th instant at St Paul to Mary Hughes.
