I am about 42 years of age, was born in Kempston. On 6th January 1828 I hired a house and premises of Mrs Sarah Denyer of Elstow, widow, situate in Lucks Lane in St Paul, Bedford for a year at the yearly rent of fourteen pounds. I have resided there ever since paying the rent and all parochial and other taxes. I was married on the 4th instant at St Paul to Elizabeth Jones.
