- Scope and ContentJohn Sheppard of Luton, labourer - on Saturday 31 October about 7pm he bought a pail from Abraham Milemore for ten pence. He said he had bought it from John King. He was not satisfied and went to John King, who said Milemore had not bought it. Sophia Paybody - she lost a pail, and it is the one John Sheppard brought to her house on Saturday evening. The pail not produced is the one she lost, which she knows because the bottom is made of 2 different woods. Abraham Milemore - said he was in distress and took it.
