I am 20 years of age, was born in All Saints in the town of Northampton where my father and mother Thomas and Hebhzibh Berridge then resided and belonged, my father having gained such settlement in that parish by apprenticeship but I do not know with whom. In 1813 my father gained a subsequent settlement in the parish of Ridgmont by renting a tenement for one year and upwards in that parish of Mr James Atkins at the yearly rent of fourteen pounds. I have never gained any settlement in my own right. I was married on the 12 January instant at St Paul, Bedford to Ann Jones.
