    Agreement for partition [see also Fac 110 catalogue] i) Arthur Edward Langridge; ii) Albert Henry Langridge, Duxford, Cambridgeshire, surgeon; iii) Frank Langridge, Dunstable, accountant; iv) said Arthur Edward Langridge, Stephen Douglas Beckley Middleton, Dunstable, solicitor; v) Lucy Langridge, Dunstable, widow; reciting a deed of covenant of 7 January 1886 between John Langridge, since deceased, and v), then Lucy Eyden, spinster; reciting will of said John Langridge dated 3 February 1886 and codicil of 15 March 1887; also reciting mortgage of 1 March 1888 between said John Langridge and Charles Lockhart and others. Result is that iv) are now entitled to property as in schedules subject to mortgages and legacies affecting the same and general debts of said John Langridge and to right of v) to receive surplus rents and to divide proceeds between i), ii) and iii) as tenants in common. i), ii) and iii) wish to divide said property. To facilitate this (as all monies received from estate of John Langridge have been exhausted) iv) have arranged an overdraft of £450 with Dunstable branch of London and County Bank, and to secure this have deposited certain deeds belonging to the estate, with the bank. i), ii) and iii) have agreed with v) for the release by her of her rights to the surplus rents in consideration of their securing to her annuity of £50. Now is agreed that iv) and v) will release all their interest in property as in schedules to use of i), ii) and iii) subject to several mortgages. Various requirements as to repayment of liabilities on the estate. i), ii) and iii) shall each give bond for payment of their share of the annuity (£16 13s 4d each) in penal sum of £250. Various covenants. Signatures of all. 1st schedule [Albert] 30–35, Church Street, Dunstable (south side) – formerly 32-37 18-21, St Mary’s Street, and 66-67, Edward Street, Dunstable 2nd schedule [Arthur] 10-11, Edward Street, and 4 cottages at Farilight Terrace, King Street, Dunstable 14-17, West Street, Dunstable 68-71, Edward Street, Dunstable 3 cottages in Ainsworth Passage, Luton 3rd schedule [Frank] 59-65 and 47 and 48, Church Street, Dunstable 6 houses in Stuart Place, Luton, and 5 cottages in Chase Street, Luton.
