discusses Villa Medici near Spanish Steps, Rome (national property of the French for ever for young artists to use when studying in Rome) Met up with two acquaintances from Rome in Paris, Mr Furze and Mr Weeble Spa – bad season because of the Crimean War – not yet taken the waters. Sorry to hear father suffering from Bronchitis suggests father meets Mrs Campbell of 6 Portman Square, London. railway to Spa will not be open till September.
