‘We have a very clever drawing master, but of course, with so many other things to attend to, I have not much time to devote to drawing and have only been able to finish one subject since we have been here; I think that the next lesson, I shall begin the pretty group Frances sketched before leaving Brussels; it is David holding Goliath’s head’, as a birthday present for Madame Goussaert. Love to Mrs Eichbaum and Frederica’s sisters..
