- Scope and ContentWilliam Single: met Jacob Reed in Girtford. Reed was drunk so Single took him to his barn and laid him on some straw to sleep. Next morning, Single went to the barn and he had gone, but he also missed his smock frock which he had left in the barn overnight. Norman Snoxell: he found Reed in Sandy, drunk and took him into custody. he had on a smock frock, later identified as that of William Single.
