She was going into the Black Horse to have a pint of beer with another young woman. When she got to the second step Kempson laid hold of her and said she had robbed him. She said he must be tipsey - she had not been in the house. He put his hand on her shoulder and she walked away a little. He then came again and said she had robbed him. She had never seen him before. he gave her in charge to the police constable.
