- Scope and ContentOn May 4 he went with Thomas Chaplin to the house of Mrs Elizabeth Skevington at Turvey. He asked her to produce the things that were taken out of his basket. She said she believed they were somewhere and would give them up if she could find them. Her little child had found some in the garden. She went to a chest of drawers and took out the purse now produced. He saw Eliza and Sarah Westley in the adjoining room. They heard what passed. Eliza went upstairs and returned about 2 minutes later with the blue beads and said the child had found them.
