- Scope and ContentWilliam Taylor: an inmate of Biggleswade Union Workhouse. When William Tingey arrived at the workhouse Taylor took his clothes from him and issued him with workhouse clothes. The clothes, including breeches and a half coat, remained in his care until 4 June. This was when he discovered the store room in which they were deposited was broken open and the clothes gone. The accused, William Milliner was admitted to the workhouse around Christmas and left on the morning of 4 June.
