- Scope and ContentWilliam Robinson: a boot and shoe maker of Church Street, Luton. On 20 November he had 2 pairs of mens half boot in the shop window. Next day, a square of glass had been broken and the boots stolen. George Poulter: a labourer of Luton. On 21 November he was asked by the accused if he could leave a bag at his house. After he left Poulter checked the bag and saw 2 pairs of mens boots in it. George Faulkener: was offered the boots for sale whilst at Attwood's beer shop in Luton by William Ellis. He bought them.
